Notice of closure of Ferring Street

WEST SUSSEX COUNTY COUNCIL

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION

 

  FERRING STREET, FERRING

 

NOTICE is hereby given that in pursuance of the provisions of Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the use of 

 

Ferring Street, Ferring from junction with Langbury Lane to junction with Elm Park on Ferring Street is temporarily prohibited from 00.30 hrs on 15.07.17 - 04.00 hrs on 17.07.17, and 00.30 hrs on 22.07.17 - 04.00 hrs on 24.07.17. 

 

This CLOSURE is necessary to allow Network Rail to install an under road duct route.

 

It is anticipated the works will be completed in six days (two phases of 3 days).

 

Emergency vehicle, Residential and Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times via the diversion route. 

 

The alternative route for traffic will be via Ferring Lane, Sea Lane, Goring Way, Goring Way, Goring Way Roundabout, Goring Overbridge, Goring Street, Goring Street Northbound, Goring Street Southbound, Goring Crossways Roundabout, Littlehampton Road Eastbound, Littlehampton Road Westbound, Ferring Lane and vice versa.

 

This notice will be effective for a maximum of 5 days from the date given above.
